Caps of Courage
Updated
At Caps of Courage, our mission is to provide free handmade caps to children and young people affected by cancer, offering warmth, comfort, and confidence throughout their journey.
Through the dedication of our volunteers and Lions Clubs International, we create colourful, lovingly made caps that remind every recipient they are not alone.
We aim to bring hope, smiles, and courage while building a community of compassion and support across the UK.
Anyone can join in with Caps of Courage — whether you knit, crochet, or sew on your own, or as part of a group, club, or organisation.
Many of our caps are lovingly created by individuals at home, while others come from community groups such as WIs, Lions clubs, schools, and craft circles.
However you choose to take part, every cap makes a difference. By coming together, we can create comfort, warmth, and smiles for children and young people facing cancer.
Caps can be made all year round and, except for special requests or projects with other organisations, can be sent in your own time frame, so no rushing is required.
Patterns and more information are on the Caps of Courage website.
