We’re delighted to welcome you to our refreshed website.

Peterborough Lions Club has served our community since 1970, and our previous website carried 15 years of news and fundraising.

As more people visit us on a phone, and as our projects have grown, it was time for something clearer, faster, and easier to use — without losing the stories and history you’ve come to know.

Faster, clearer, easier on the go

Pages load much more quickly than before, and the layout is built for phones and tablets as well as desktops — so reading news, finding a route map, or tapping through to donate should feel straightforward wherever you are.

We’ve also paid attention to accessibility: clearer navigation, meaningful descriptions for images, and forms that work better with assistive technology.

Easier to find what you need

The new home page puts our mission front and centre: who we are, how we serve, and what you can do next — whether that’s buying a quiz sheet, following Santa, making a donation, or finding out how to help.

We’ve also grouped our work more clearly:

• Latest news — still here, with our full archive kept

Seasonal shortcuts change through the year, so the things that matter right now are never buried.

Shop, quizzes, and your past orders

You can still buy our charity quiz sheets online any time of year — the current sheet or a pre-order for the next one, depending on the calendar, plus back issues, and a large-print option where available.

What’s new: all past orders from the old site have been brought across. To see them, sign in with your email address — we’ll send you a link; there’s no password to remember.

Prefer to give directly? Our short donate page takes you straight to a secure payment page.

Getting in touch is clearer

One contact form now covers volunteering, fundraising questions, service requests, and reporting a problem — and it goes to the right people.

If you’d like to get involved, you can explore membership, help as a supporter, or simply register your interest — no pressure.

Our mailing list is there if you’d like occasional updates, and you can also opt in when you check out in the shop.

Favourites that return each year

When Christmas comes round again, you’ll still find Carol Float route maps and our live Santa tracker. At Easter, the egg stockists map will be back. Photo galleries of our events and projects are here to browse, and old web addresses from our previous site should still take you to the right place.

Bound to be a few glitches

A new site this size rarely arrives without a wrinkle or two. If something looks wrong, a link goes nowhere, or a page doesn’t behave as you’d expect, please tell us — there’s a Report a Problem link in the footer of every page, and you can always use the contact form.
