Quiz Sheets

Peterborough Lions Quiz is a popular pastime and fundraiser alike. Each year a new quiz goes on sale in September, runs through Christmas and into the New Year, and closes to prize-draw entries in the middle of January.

Our most recent quiz sheet, “All Day Breakfast”, was released on 1st September 2025 and closed to entrants on 10th January 2026. If you missed it or 2024’s “All At Sixes and Sevens”, 2023’s “A Right Royal Quiz”, 2022’s “Altered Images”, 2021’s “It’s About Time”, 2020’s “Sweet Tooth”, or any others, they’re still available to buy in our shop.

Our next quiz will be released in September 2026. We cannot tell you the theme yet, but you can pre-order your copy now and we will send it as soon as it is available.

Errata

2025 “All Day Breakfast” — competition closed

The 2025/26 quiz “All Day Breakfast” was released on 1 September 2025 and closed to entrants on 10 January 2026. Winners were drawn in March 2026; the answer sheet and full results are on our past-quizzes page.

You can still buy copies for fun and fundraising — every sale supports local causes, but it is too late to enter the prize draw for this edition.

Older editions — including 2024’s “All At Sixes And Sevens”, 2023’s “A Right Royal Quiz”, and many more — remain available in our shop while stocks last.

Where to get it

Pre-order online: the quickest way to reserve the 2026 quiz is our shop. Past editions are also available there year-round.

Local stockists: from September through early January, many shops, pubs, and charities sell the current quiz around Peterborough — often on a 50:50 basis (see below). A list of stockists and map is updated when the new quiz is on sale. If you would like to help us sell copies, please get in touch.

By post (cheque): if you prefer not to buy online, send a large stamped addressed envelope with a cheque for £2 per quiz sheet to:

Cheques are cashed on receipt (unless post-dated). Pre-orders are shipped when the quiz is released.

Please consider purchasing online where you can — it works out cheaper for you (no return postage) and for us (lower processing costs than cheques).

Selling it on a 50:50 basis to benefit other great causes

Every year, many other great causes sell our quiz sheets for us and retain 50% of the cover price for every copy sold. Over the years this has helped other Lions clubs, charities, Scouts & Guides, hospital groups, churches, and more share in our fundraising.

If you are a group looking to raise funds, or a shop, pub, workplace, or other outlet with a nominated charity, please get in touch — especially ahead of the September launch.

Remember that this is zero risk to you: we cover printing and prize costs, there is no minimum (or maximum) number to sell, and you simply collect half the cover price for each one sold.

Terms & Conditions

About the quiz:

Quiz entries must be received by midnight on the closing date to be included in the prize draw. Peterborough Lions cannot take any responsibility for entries delayed in the post. All entries received before the closing date will be treated equally.
The prizes will be awarded to the first all-correct entries drawn, in order, no later than the Peterborough Lions Club’s Business Meeting in the second month after the close of the quiz (we aim for the first month after the closing date). A full list of winners will be posted on this website shortly after that date.
In the event that insufficient all-correct entries are received, the prizes will go to those entries with the highest number of correct answers, drawn at random and in order of prizes.
Whilst the utmost care has been taken to ensure the answers are correct and unambiguous, the Club’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Please ensure adequate postage is applied; mail requiring a surcharge will not be collected. Additional details, including errata, winner lists, and answers, will be published on this website.
Only one answer per question is permitted but obvious erasures or corrections are acceptable.
All winners will be notified as soon as possible after the draw. Please enclose a large stamped self-addressed envelope with your entry if a printed copy of the answers is required.

About the information we collect from you:

If you supply an email address, then that email address and your name (but nothing else) will be retained so that we can notify you of future Peterborough Lions events. They will not be used (nor sold) for any other purpose, and you can opt out from the emails at any time.
Otherwise we will only use the details entered on the quiz for the purposes of notifying you should you win a prize (and to send you a cheque!).
Stamped addressed envelopes will only be used for their intended purposes (returning entered quiz sheets with answer sheets, or posting purchased quiz sheets). No data will be collected from them or retained once posted.
Returned quiz sheets will be securely destroyed within 3 months of the prize draw.
A list of winners will be published after the draw. This will include the first initial and surname of the winner, their town (and/or country, if outside the UK), and the prize value. This information will be available on this website and other places.

Errata

Each year’s quiz is written fresh by our volunteer team. Despite careful proof-reading, mistakes sometimes slip through. If a question has a published correction, it will be excluded from marking so that late purchasers are not disadvantaged.

Errata for the 2025/26 “All Day Breakfast” quiz (competition now closed) are on the past quiz sheets page. There were no question corrections; a printing error blanked the question numbers for Q4 and Q44.

Errata for the 2026 quiz will appear here once the quiz is released in September 2026.
