About Us
Updated
Peterborough Lions Club was chartered in 1970. Its members — all wishing to help the less fortunate people within the Peterborough area — shared simple aims:
- Community Service,
- Fund-raising to help the less fortunate within the community and further afield,
- and have fun and fellowship whilst doing it.
The Peterborough Lions Club has continued to go from strength to strength and after 50 years the same aims are still holding true.
The club is in Zone B (which also includes clubs in March and Wisbech) of Region 1 of District MD105CE (MD105 is Great Britain and, until July 4th 2017, included Ireland, now District 133) - you’re never far from a Lions club!
We are always looking for new members and will offer a warm welcome to all visitors. If you would like to visit we meet at 7:30pm on the SECOND Tuesday of each month.
